KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A week after the 2020 NFL Draft, members of the Kansas City Chiefs spoke to the media Friday.

In a Zoom video conference, Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes addressed several issues that have come up over the last few weeks.

When asked about news earlier this week that the team was exercising a fifth-year option on the QB, Mahomes said, “I want to be a Chief for a very long time….whenever that happens, it happens.”

Mahomes also addressed offseason moves by AFC West foes.

“We’ve seen what the other teams in our division have been doing,” Mahome said. “They’re trying to take the crown from us.”

Off the field, Mahomes says he’s used the stay-at-home orders over the last several weeks to catch up on "Ozark" and "Westworld."
