KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Live sports continued to inch back Memorial Day weekend in a televised golf special featuring some of the biggest names in sports.
Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Tom Brady an Peyton Manning all grabbed their clubs for charity on Sunday.
It was such a hit for Mickelson that he’s looking to keep “The Match” going with other big sports names.
One of those includes Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes.
In an interview Wednesday with the Los Angeles Times, Mickelson said he’d love to bring Mahomes into the fray, along with other sports superstars like Steph Curry, Michael Jordan or Tony Romo.
On Thursday morning, Mahomes tweeted, “I'm ready whenever.”
