Bill Self had plenty of advantages. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl was a KU legacy. He dad, Lester Earl, played for the Jayhawks. Plus, Robinson-Earl was starring for Bishop Miege, right down the road from Lawrence.

But then Jeremiah jumped to IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL to play his senior year and it appears he'll stay on the East Coast, telling the recruiting service Rivals that he will play his college basketball at Villanova.

Jay Wright wins the contested recruiting battle over Bill Self, who coached Robinson-Earl on the Team USA 18U squad this summer.

Rivals ranks the five-star forward as the #10 recruit in the country. Kansas & Villanova, who squared off in the Final Four this past season, will meet again at Allen Fieldhouse on December 15.
