KANSAS CITY, Mo. — It only makes sense that a workhorse of a running back named Clyde would earn the nickname "Clydesdale" on the field. It's almost too easy.

And, in fact, new Chiefs first-round pick Clyde Edwards-Helaire is interested in horsepower — just the kind under the hood.

"Mainly, I'm a hunter, but when I can't hunt, I'm messing with cars," Edwards-Helaire said.

He said one of his passions is restoring old cars.

At the moment, Edwards-Helaire is restoring a 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass right now, but has a dream car in mind.

"Ultimately, my goal car is a 1967 Fastback Mustang," Edwards-Helaire said. "Once I can sit down and take my time doing that one from frame all the way up by hand, then I've found my comfort zone."
