KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- A Shocked and frustrated Alex Smith stepped to the podium following the Chiefs 16-10 loss to Buffalo, and quite frankly he looked dazed and confused. KC drops their 5th out of their last 6 games. When does this losing skid stop?

It was one of the slowest starts in recent memory for the Chiefs Offense.

5 straight 3 and outs to start the game?  Kansas City didn't get a first down until 3 and a half minutes before half-time, and it wasn't until the second half the offense was able to convert on 3rd down.

Buffalo also dominated the time of possession, especially in the first half. Alex Smith finished 23 of 36 with a touchdown,  but it was more than just the signal caller taking responsibility for what went wrong at Arrowhead.

"We expect better of ourselves." Said Chiefs Head Coach Andy Reid.  "That's something I gotta make sure gets worked out."

Smith says the recent slide, is a group effort, but starts with him. "For all of us we all lean on each other. It's a team game, we are a unit."  Said Smith. "We're not getting it done and it's frustrating."

The Chiefs fall to 6-5 in the AFC west before heading to New York next week to face the Jets.
