HyVee Big Game Match Up: Louisburg edges Piper 28-21

KANSAS CITY, Mo-Our HyVee Big Game Matchup was a battle between two schools who haven't lost a game yet.

Undefeated Piper hosts undefeated Louisburg. 

It was piper who scored on the very first play of the game. Quarterback Dalton White fakes the handoff and takes matters into his own hands all the way for the 50-yard touchdown run. The Pirates lead seven nothing. 

Louisburg came back with a vengeance. Madden Rutherford finds Joshua Casey across the middle for the 20-yard touchdown pass.

In the second quarter, Louisburg's Austin Moore drags defenders on his way to the end zone for the eight yard rushing touchdown.

The Wildcats win a tough one on the road 28-21.

Beautiful sunset out at Turner Stadium in KCK. The bears hosted the Leavenworth Pioneers.

Pioneers would strike first senior Robert McKinley sells the fake pass as junior Jahawn Byrd runs the ball up the middle for the touchdown. 7-0 Leavenworth.

Later, Bears down 14, Paul Vogan finds Cameron Bates. Bates shakes off the tackle and takes this one to the house. Turner down 14-7.

 

The Pioneers would keep on scoring though,eating Turner big 82-21.

Shawnee Mission North on the road to take on Olathe West Owls.

First quarter, 4th and 11, North is going for it. Zach Bush throws the ball into the endzone and it's caught by Billy Conaway. The Indians take the lead 7-nothing. 

Later in the second half, check out this play. Quaterback Zac Krause rolls out and throws it down to field to Caden Bernard. The ball pops out but he grabs it for the score. That would tie the game at 14.
