The Kansas City Mavericks hosted the Toledo Walleyes Saturday (Jan. 20) evening.
Early in the game, Mavericks goalie Chris Nell was there to save the shot by Toledo.
The Mavericks scored their first goal with 16 minutes left in the first period. Eric Freschi passed it Danny Smith for the score.
Mavericks won the game 3 to 1.
