KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas basketball senior Marcus Garrett has been named to the Preseason All-Big 12 Team.
Garrett was a unanimous selection to the team, averaging 9.2 points per game in 2019-20. He ranked first in the Big 12 in assists, averaging 4.7 last season.

In 2020, Garret was named Naismith and ESPN.com Defensive Player of the Year and Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year.
KU’s season will tip off on Dec. 1 when the Jayhawks face Kentucky in the Champions Classic.
Kansas will begin conference play on Dec. 17 at Texas Tech.
