KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City Chiefs fans know few bounds when it comes to sharing their passion for the hometown team.
Musician and Leavenworth-native Melissa Etheridge joined the kingdom of fans who have taken to music to share their love of the Chiefs.
Etheridge sang her “Chiefs are Going to the Super Bowl” song Monday on the Dan Patrick Show.
Chiefs Kingdom is familiar with the singer - she sang the National Anthem at the 2019 AFC Championship game against the New England Patriots.
Etheridge isn’t alone in taking to music to support the Chiefs.
Several other Chiefs fans released songs last week to get Chiefs Kingdom revved up before the AFC title game.
