KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The newest NFL fan of the year from Chiefs Kingdom was announced Thursday.
According to the NFL's website, Roger McCush is a "lifelong Chiefs fan who takes pride in keeping the 'Sea of Red' alive and participating in Chiefs traditions such as being an season ticket member, tailgating and traveling to training camp practices."
McCush is a physical education teacher for students with severe disabilities and enjoys getting students involved in sports and serving on fundraising committees.
He recently recovered from kidney cancer, which inspired his friends, family and the Chiefs community.
