KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The NFL won’t officially release the 2019 schedule until 7 p.m. Wednesday during an NFL Network special.

But information about a few high-profile games, including several for the Kansas City Chiefs, had already leaked out by Wednesday afternoon.

The Chiefs’ official Twitter account announced the makeup date for a game in Mexico around 9 a.m.

Kansas City was scheduled to play the Los Angeles Rams in Mexico City last season, but poor field conditions after a Shakira concert the week before forced the game to move to southern California.

Now, the Chiefs will play Los Angeles’ other team — the Chargers — on Nov. 18 in Mexico City.

At least three Sunday Night Football games, which will air on 41 Action News, also are reportedly on the docket, including games at Arrowhead Stadium against the Indianapolis Colts and Green Bay Packers.

The Chiefs reportedly will host the Colts in an AFC Divisional rematch Oct. 6 on Sunday Night Football.

Terez Paylor of Yahoo Sports tweeted that Kansas City will host the Green Bay Packers — a potentially tantalizing quarterback matchup between Patrick Mahomes and Aaron Rodgers — for Sunday Night Football on Oct. 27. The game will air on 41 Action News.

The Chiefs also reportedly will face the Chicago Bears on Sunday Night Football in the penultimate game of the regular season Dec. 22 at Soldier Field. The game pits Chiefs coach Andy Reid against his former offensive coordinator, Matt Nagy.

Paylor also tweeted details of the Chiefs’ season opener, which reportedly will be Sept. 8 at the Jacksonville Jaguars.

The rematch of last season’s AFC Championship Game against the New England Patriots in Foxborough, Massachusetts, reportedly is set for 3:25 p.m. on Dec. 8, according to The Athletic.
