KANSAS CITY, Mo. — All of Chiefs Kingdom held its breath Sunday when quarterback Patrick Mahomes left the game in the third quarter to enter concussion protocol.
A 4-year-old fan captured the Kingdom’s spirit and heart in her well wishes for the star player.
“Mahomes, I hope you get better. I really need you next week. I love you. I hope you get better,” Eden said.

While it will still be at least a couple more days before fans have a substantial update on Mahomes, coach Andy Reid said after the game that Mahomes was “doing great.”
