KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Lawn care isn’t always top of mind for Midwesterners in the heart of winter.
The Kansas City Chiefs run to a second-straight Super Bowl tends to change priorities.
In Arkansas City, Kansas, - just north of the Kansas/Oklahoma border - locals took to their lawn to show the Chiefs Kingdom knows no borders.
Chiefs fan Seth Graves told Wichita NBC affiliate KSNW-TV he and a bunch of friends chipped in to an eight hour project to transform their lawn.
“First we started out with the red, it took about four gallons of paint. Then, last night we started with the ‘Run it back’ and streamlined it out, measured everything, and started painting. No stencils anything. This is all free handed.”
