Royals announce plans to lift mask mandate at Kauffman Stadium

According to a report from The Athletic, Kansas City Royals owner David Glass may sell the team to a group that includes KC native John Sherman.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Kansas City Royals announced Friday they are lifting their mask mandate for fans attending games at Kaufman Stadium.

The new policy applies to fans that are fully vaccinated.

The team still recommends masks for fans that are not vaccinated.

The Royals return home on May 18 for a five-game homestead against the Milwaukee Brewers and Detroit Tigers.
