KNASAS CITY, Mo. — First baseman Lucas Duda will be added to the Royals' 40-man roster.
On Monday, the Royals announced that they have requested release waivers for outfielder Brain Goodwin and selected Duda from Omaha.
After the move made on Monday, the Royals have 34 players in Major League camp, not including Jesse Hahn, Salvador Perez and Eric Skoglund.
