KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Sporting KC’s regular season home finale has been canceled due to positive COVID-19 tests.

Major League Soccer announced the change on Saturday -- one day before SKC’s scheduled match against Minnesota United FC -- after two Minnesota players tested positive for the virus.

The game is not expected to be rescheduled, according to a news release.

SKC season ticket members who purchased tickets for Sunday’s game will have credit refunded to their accounts. Single-game purchases made through SeatGeek will be refunded.

SKC’s next game now will be against Real Salt Lake at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 8 at Rio Tinto Stadium.
