What's up KC? Lineup for your Dec. 18 weekend

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Hey Kansas City! It's time to get your weekend plans together!

Freebie Friday

First up, make sure you check out 38 the Spot's Facebook page for our latest Freebie Friday. This week we're giving away five free subs from Goodcents Deli Fresh Subs! Just register on 38's Facebook page for your chance to win.

Free Concert at KC Museum

Friday night, enjoy a free concert outside the Kansas City Museum ! Pack up your blankets, lawn chairs, and picnic baskets for a night of beautiful music with singer Laura Noble. She sings in both English and Spanish and has performed the national anthem at many sporting events, including at Kauffman Stadium. This event is totally free to attend, and bonus, dogs are welcome too! The concert kicks off at 7pm.

Crossroads Food Truck Festival

On Saturday, head to the Crossroads for the Food Truck Festival ! Here you can enjoy a variety of local food trucks, live music by the M80s and DeeJay Proof, and tons of activities like face painting and child-friendly games. The fun starts on Saturday at 5pm, and kids twelve and under enter for free!

9th Annual Summer Swing

Then on Sunday, it's time for the 9th annual Summer Swing ! The Strawberry Swing Indie Craft Fair is setting up shop at the Nelson-Atkins Museum. This special event features more than 100 handmade and vintage vendors, food trucks, kids crafts, and many more fun activities. Plus, the first 100 guests donate $10 will get a free goodie bag featuring unique, one-of-a-kind items! Be there Sunday starting at 10am to join in on all the fun!
