Kansas City it’s time to get your weekend plans together!

2017 Swift Mile Street Festival
Head up to North Kansas City this weekend for the urban/suburban street fest, Swift Mile! The fest was founded to bring awareness to the budding entrepreneurial and entertainment venues popping up along Swift Avenue. In addition to shopping and entertainment, you can tour historic North Kansas City during the Pint Path while eating and drinking from local spots along the way.

Kansas City Chalk & Walk Festival
Did you know that street painting was created in Italy many centuries ago? Artists would bring paintings to life using pastel chalks as their medium and pavement as their canvas. See this artistic method in person at the Kansas City Chalk & Walk Festival this weekend at the Crown Center. You can even grab some chalk and try it out yourself!

Yogis in the Outfield
If you’ve ever wanted to know what the view is like for a Royals player on the field, now is your chance to swap your stadium seat for a yoga mat in the outfield. The 3rd Annual Yogis in the Outfield is on Sunday. Tickets include a one-hour yoga practice on the Kauffman Stadium outfield grass, breakfast, a yoga mat and a seat to watch the Royals take on the Twins at 1:15PM.

Don’t forget to end your weekend checking out Kate Rose on Behind The Spotlight! Airs Sunday night at 11 PM on 38 The Spot!
