“A Moon for the Misbegotten” is the story of James Tyrone, a charismatic but cynical actor, visiting a tenement farm that he's recently inherited in 1920's Connecticut. The farm is occupied by the salty Irish farmer, Phil Hogan, and his daughter, Josie, whom James has befriended. Over the course of a moonlit night, James and Jose connect as he fights to come to grips what he sees as his hollow life, while she faces her own long-hidden desires and the raw intensity of their true feelings for each other is revealed. “A Moon for the Misbegotten” is onstage with the Kansas City Actors Theatre until the end of September.
