Plaza plays the title role of Ingrid, who easily becomes obsessed with people she follows on social media.
One of those Instagram stars is played by Elizabeth Olsen.
Ingrid stalks her on social media and ends up friending her not only online, but in person by way of Olsen’s character posting everything about her life.
This dramedy, could be upsetting to some because it’s easy to see how the plot of the film could actually happen.
Plaza is fun to watch as her character becomes unhinged into a mental meltdown.
This film is definitely a sign of the times and how easy it is for someone you only know online to know your every move.
It also stars O’Shea Jackson Jr. and Wyatt Russell in great supporting roles.
This Sunday, The Alamo Drafthouse is hosting a "Pinot and Paint” to coincide with the film.
