They are 4th generation musicians and have been a group for 36 years. The Nace Brothers say their musical heritage began in the latter part of the 19th century with their great-great grandfather who was a classically trained violinist. The legacy continued in the 1920's and 30's with their grandfather Percy a multi-instrumentalist and square dance caller. By the late 40's their father was playing box suppers and square dances. David Nace, Jimmy Nace and Chase McRoy of The Nace Brothers talk with us about how they continue the family tradition.
