Nine Artists and Chef pairs join to awaken your senses at a spectacular event! Lon Lane is excited to talk about the Kansas City Art Institute’s “ArtFare” and is demonstrating a potato bar based on the sculpture of Archie Scott Gobber. Each chef has created a dish inspired by his artist partner's artwork. All artists are alumni of KCAI. The event includes a silent auction, food, art and cocktails.
Other artist chef pairings include Christopher Elbow chocolates inspired by the painting of Madeline Gallucci. Joe West of the new Savoy is doing a lamb tenderloin with edible flowers and a mint sauce based on the sculpture of Linda Lighton.
