May is National Burger Month and we are celebrating with the help of JJ's ! Executive Chef Julio Juarez explains what makes JJ's burgers so special and tell us how they're celebrating during this burger-licious month!
JJ’s Tenderloin Burger with Chambord Onion Jam
Chambord Onion Jam:
- 6 packs raspberries
- 1 yellow onion, thinly Julianne sliced
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- 1 c. white balsamic
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Chambord
1. On a medium heat pan, sweat the onion and jalapeño for 2 minutes.
2. Add the raspberries, white balsamic, sugar, and Chambord and move to low heat. Cook for 25 minutes.
3. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes before using on burger.
