May is National Burger Month and we are celebrating with the help of JJ's! Executive Chef Julio Juarez explains what makes JJ's burgers so special and tell us how they're celebrating during this burger-licious month!
JJ’s Tenderloin Burger with Chambord Onion Jam
Chambord Onion Jam:
- 6 packs raspberries
- 1 yellow onion, thinly Julianne sliced
- 1 jalapeño, diced
- 1 c. white balsamic
- 2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. Chambord
1. On a medium heat pan, sweat the onion and jalapeño for 2 minutes.
2. Add the raspberries, white balsamic, sugar, and Chambord and move to low heat. Cook for 25 minutes.
3. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes before using on burger.
