Last minute Valentine's Day meal from Trezo Mare

Valentine's Day is here!  You can put together a last minute meal and score big points with your date. Chef Jeff Gundy of Trezo Mare created some delicious food and dessert.

 

Prosciutto Wrapped Salmon with Chive Garlic Butter

Available on Trezo Mare’s Valentine’s Dinner for Two To-Go Menu

Ingredients:

  • 5 oz. salmon filet
  • Prosciutto, thinly sliced
  • Chopped garlic, as much as desired
  • 3 oz. white wine
  • 2 tbsp. butter, chilled
  • Chopped chives, to taste

1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees

2. Heat a sauté pan on medium-high heat on stovetop

3. Wrap salmon in prosciutto and season with salt and pepper

4. Once sauté pan is hot, add the salmon to the pan and sear for 1 1/2 minutes or until it has started to brown

5. Place salmon in the oven at 350 degrees for 5 minutes

6. Remove salmon from sauté pan and place on plate

7. In the same sauté pan, add garlic and cook until brown

8. Add the white wine and sauté with the garlic for approximately 1 minute

9. Add butter and chives, whisk until butter is melted and pour over salmon to finish

10. Enjoy
