Kansas City's Tasty Expo will put a tasty twist on your dinner table! You’ll taste, sip, and learn at this year's Tasty Expo. It's the ultimate food and beverage event and you're invited! Chef Jasper cooks up some Tuscan Chicken and Lukas Beckstrom tells us more.
- 2 packages Smart Chicken breasts (4 total)
- 4 Tablespoons olive oil
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 cup chicken broth
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder
- 2 teaspoons Italian seasoning
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups spinach, chopped
- 1 cup sun dried tomatoes
In a large skillet add olive oil and cook the chicken on medium-high heat for about 5 to 7 minutes. Flip the chicken and cook until it reaches 165° F, 5 to 7 minutes more. Remove chicken and set aside on a plate.
Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and Parmesan cheese to the skillet. Whisk over medium high heat until the sauce starts to thicken. Add the spinach and sun-dried tomatoes and let it simmer until the spinach starts to wilt. Add the chicken back to the pan and serve over pasta if desired.
