KANSAS CITY, MO — They are the new kids in Liberty, and we are getting a little taste test this morning of one of their dishes. Josh Pederson and Derich Carlson of Red Door Woodfire Grill join us with the details and a recipe for Julie’s Way Grilled Chicken.
Julie’s Way Grilled Chicken
Ingredients:
1 chicken breast
3 oz. roasted garlic hummus
3 oz. tabbouleh
2 oz. asparagus
1 oz. basil pesto
1 tsp. parsley
1 lemon, quartered
1/2 oz. garlic herb butter
Season chicken breast with black magic seasoning on both sides. Place on the grill and cook the chicken breast to 165 degrees.
Place the asparagus on the grill and cook until thoroughly heated through.
Place hummus on right side of the plate and gently press down for better plate coverage, place the tabbouleh right next to the hummus.
Place the chicken on top of both the tabbouleh and hummus. Stack the asparagus leaning on top of the chicken.
Top with garlic herb butter and serve with a garnish of parsley and a lemon wedge.
