The Federal Aviation Administration rolled out their online registration process on Tuesday, and registration is mandatory.
Any drone weighing between .55 and 55 pounds must be registered. Any drone brought before December 21st have until February 19th to register.
If you do not register a drone people face up to 250,000 in fines and could face jail time.
