In the final hours of Christmas Eve, people in the metro made their last stops to pick up last minute shopping items.
According to the National Retail Federation only 90 percent of Christmas shopping was done on the Dec. 15.
Customers shopping at The Legends, which was open until 5 p.m., say they had not problem picking up gifts.
“I was extremely surprised how quick it went over Nebraska Furniture Mart, I was in and out of there in less than five minutes,” said William Jarvis of Pleasantville, Missouri.
“I feel very confident, a lot of sales out here so that's good for me,” said Jeremiah Coleman of Kansas City, Kansas.
