If you're tired of the same exercise routine--why not giving dancing a try?
I was invited to Viva Social Dance Studio in Mission, Kansas for their group Salsa class.
It was a packed dance floor of 40 people all smiling and dancing and soaking in the fun of Latin music! The moves are fast and you change direction often, so I quickly discovered you have to pay attention and just follow the dance instructor.
I tried to keep up and for a first-timer I quickly got in the spirit of the music and the fun vibe; but I was also sweating!
Salsa is an aerobic exercise and every muscle is engaged.
Julian French and his dance partner, Paulette Santiago, practice at Viva and have performed at national and international events. Other dancers and dance teams from Viva are also performance-level dancers.

I would highly recommend Salsa-especially if you get a group of friends together and give it a try!
