KCKPD identify victim in Monday night shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Gunfire killed a man Monday night just days before Christmas in Kansas City, Kansas.

Police found the victim, identified Tuesday as 58-year-old Gregory Stallings, about 6:30 p.m. in the 2500 block of North 18th Street.

A suspect has not yet been placed in custody, according to police.

The KCKPD Major Case Unit is investigating the shooting. Anyone with information is asked to call the anonymous TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS.
