KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person died in a shooting in east Kansas City, Missouri, Wednesday night, police said.
The shooting unfolded just after 9:30 p.m. near Van Brunt Boulevard and east 27th Street.
Kansas City police have identified the victim as Jonathan L. McConville, 32.
No suspect information was available.
There was no immediate word on what led to the violence.
