KANSAS CITY, Mo. — A man is in critical condition following a shooting near East 23rd Street and Indiana Avenue on Tuesday afternoon.
Kansas City, Missouri, police said the shooting victim was in a car, which was shown to be riddled with bullet holes and shot-out windows in video from 41 Action News’ Skytracker.
One bullet hit a KCATA bus, but no one on board was hurt.
Police said they do not think the suspect intended to hit the bus.
A second shooter may have fired back at the person who allegedly shot up the car.
Officers are searching for both shooters, police said.
The victim's injuries are life-threatening, according to KCPD.
