1 man dies after KCMO shooting at E. 55th Street, Cypress Avenue

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man has died after a shooting Saturday afternoon in Kansas City, Missouri.

Police responded around 3:15 p.m. to area of East 55th Street and Cypress Avenue, where the victim was located.

The man, who has was later identified 28-year-old Richard Minor, was found inside a vehicle suffering from gunshot wounds.

He was declared dead at the scene, according to police.

Anyone with information is asked to call the KCPD Homicide Unit at 816-234-5043 or make an anonymous tip through the TIPS Hotline at 816-474-TIPS. A reward up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest.
