KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One person is in stable, but critical, condition following a shooting Sunday nightin Kansas City, Kansas.
KCKPD responded to the 1400 block of Kansas Avenue, where the victim, a 16-year-old male, was located inside a vehicle with a gunshot wound.
He was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries.
The passenger in the car was not hurt.
According to police, the victim's vehicle was believed to have been traveling westbound on Kansas Avenue when it was struck by gunfire from a vehicle traveling eastbound.
