2nd man charged in Olathe teen's homicide

KANSAS CITY, Mo. UPDATE 2:40 PM 6/19/2018: A second person has been charged in the death of an Olathe teen.

Malik Delva, 22, was charged with first-degree murder Tuesday.

Angelo Monteleone, 18, was charged with first-degree murder Monday in the death of 17-year-old Daniel Bowden. 

At 11:45 p.m. Friday, officers responded to the 100 block of South Clairborne Road to investigate an armed disturbance. 

Olathe police said during an altercation between two groups, Bowden was shot. He was taken to an area hospital where he died.

Monteleone made his first court appearance Monday. His bond is set at $1 million. 

Delva appeared in court Tuesday. His bond is also set at $1 million.
