A 19-year-old male was arrested for shooting a 16-year-old in Lawrence early Friday morning.
Anthony Taylor of Lawrence, Kan., was arrested and was charged with aggravated battery.
Lawrence police were called out earlier Friday to a shooting in the 2100 block of Carolina about 4:30 a.m.
When arriving, they found the shooting victim with a non life-threatening injury. He was transported to an area hospital. He was treated and has been released.
During the day, investigators processed the scene and gathered information.
Taylor is being held on a $75,000.00 bond.
