Two suspects are in custody after an early morning shooting that killed one man and injured another.
The Kansas City Police Department was called to 4th and Colorado around 1 a.m. Friday after reports of shots fired.
When officers arrived on the scene, they saw two shooting victims.
One of the men was dead, the other was taken to a local hospital in critical condition, officials said.
Police identified the victim as Steven Thompson, 49, of Kansas City, Missouri.
