2 teens found shot, including 1 dead, in KCK

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Two teenagers were shot, including one who died from his injuries, in the early hours of Tuesday morning in Kansas City, Kansas, according to police.

KCK police officers arrived around 12:45 a.m. in the 900 block of South 11th Street to find a teen shot in the street.

The teen was taken to the hospital in serious condition but was reportedly stable.

Officers were called back to the area around 6:30 a.m. and found a second victim in an alley to the east of the initial shooting location.

The second teen, who was later identified as 18-year-old Cristian Ramos-Quezada, was pronounced dead from a gunshot wound.

There have been no arrests made in the case.
