2 women wanted in Liberty Memorial vandalism

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Police are trying to locate two women they say are responsible for vandalism at Liberty Memorial.

Police tweeted Monday afternoon they are looking for the pair of “young women,” wanted in a vandalism investigation on Thursday, June 7, 2018.

Surveillance pictures released by police show the two women sitting along a wall at the memorial and driving off in a silver SUV.

Police report the vandalism was spray painted on a directional sign at the entrance to the memorial.
