4 gang members arrested in connection to KCK double shooting

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Kansas City, Kansas Police Chief Terry Zeigler said four gang members were arrested Thursday night.

Police were looking for them in connection to a double shooting that happened earlier in the day near 14th and Minnesota.

Zeigler tweeted that the two victims walked into Providence Medical Center with gunshot wounds around 4 p.m. Thursday.

Zeigler said officers looked for the gang members in the area of the shooting and located them.

In addition to taking the four into custody, officers seized four handguns, four rifles, a pound of marijuana, gang paraphernalia, and also towed two vehicles.

In his tweet, Zeigler thanked federal law enforcement partners for their help.
