KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Four employees at the Jackson County Jail are on leave after officials found contraband during a sweep on Thursday.

According to Jackson County Sheriff Darryl Forte, local, state and federal officials all conducted the sweep.

None of the employees were arrested in the incident.

Forte didn't immediately provide details on what was found.

An investigation into the sweep is ongoing.
