A man allegedly tried to run over a KCK officer before leading police on a chase

The suspect allegedly tried to run over a Kansas City, Kan. officer then fled across state lines.

Officials say a driver tried to run over a Kansas City, Kan. police officer at about 8 p.m. Wednesday.

The incident happened during a traffic stop at 14th Street and Minnesota Avenue. Police say the driver fled across state lines into Kansas City, Mo.

A Kansas City, Kan. officer reportedly crashed at 9th Street and Prospect Avenue. The officer wasn't injured.

Officials say the suspect drove back into Kansas City, Kan. and was arrested at 24th Street and Wood Ave.
