ST LOUIS – A U.S. Marshal was shot Monday morning while serving a warrant in St Louis.
KSDK-TV reports the marshal was in the 10300 block of Durness in St. Louis County when the suspect fired shots at the agents.
The marshal was transported to an area hospital in an unknown condition, though initial reports indicated the officer was alert during transport and was wearing a bullet-resistant vest.
Additional law enforcement were called to the scene and are now in a standoff with the suspect inside.
