KANSAS CITY, Mo. — Harrisonville, Missouri police are investigating after a chalice was stolen from a local church.
Harrisonville police said a gold plated silver chalice was reported stolen Friday, June 29 from Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. The chalice is 8-10 inches tall with two red stones in the base. There is a plate on the bottom that reads “Ian Michael Murphy May 19, 2012 Deus filius meis delectus.”
Harrisonville posted a photo that isn't the exact chalice, but it looks similar to the stolen one.
