A 7-year-old child was injured by a gun during a dispute, police say.
The shooting happened 3:30 a.m. Sunday morning on the 9100 block of Oak.
Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forté said a physical altercation happened between the 7-year-old child's dad and his mother's ex-boyfriend.
The child was grazed by the bullet. No one else was injured.
No arrest was made and the father left the scene.
He has not been located yet.
