KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The FBI is investigating a bank robbery Tuesday in Grandview.

According to the FBI, two suspects entered the Bank Midwest branch around 4:30 p.m. at 12500 South U.S. 71 in Grandview and one suspect handed the teller a note.

There was no weapon displayed and no one was injured.

The suspect who approached the teller and his accomplice, who stood in the lobby and didn’t approach the counter, fled in a black late 1990s model GMC Yukon with an undisclosed amount of money.

The first suspect is described as a 5-foot-6 and 110-pound black male, approximately 20 years old and wearing a red Nike hoodie.

The second suspect is a 5-foot-6 black male with a slender build, wearing a gray and black sweatshirt and gray sweatpants.
