A former music teacher was sentenced to life in prison on Thursday.
Johnson County District Court Judge Sara Welch sentenced Sean Dow to a life sentence. Dow entered a guilty plea in May to a charge of aggravated indecent liberties of a child under the age of 14.
Dow was an instructor at Funky Munky Music in Shawnee. He is accused of touching multiple students under the age of 14 between August 2013 and April 2015.
Dow could be eligible for parole after 25 years.
He faces additional charges in Jackson County, Missouri.
