KANSAS CITY, Mo. — An investigation is underway after a decomposing body was found Thursday in southeast Kansas City.
A police spokesman said the body, which appeared to be male, was found about noon near a walking path at Longview Parkway and Elm Street.
The body had signs of trauma and foul play is suspected.
The man's name has not been released.
No suspect information is known.
