Gunfire wounds man Tuesday night in Grandview

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — One man is fighting for his life after being shot Tuesday night in Grandview.

Police said the gunfire happened at 6:35 p.m. in the 6500 block of East 128th Street.

The victim is in his late teens or early 20s.

He managed to call 911 to let police know he'd been shot, police said in a news release.

Grandview detectives are investigating the shooting and need the public's help to solve the case.

Anyone with information is urged to call 474-TIPS.

All calls are kept confidential and a reward of up to $25,000 is available for the right information.
