Independence police need help identifying a man they said robbed a Family Dollar store on Monday.
Police said the armed robbery occurred shortly after noon at the Family Dollar at 12521 E. US 40 Highway. The suspect was described as a black male wearing a trench coat, sunglasses and a hooded sweatshirt.
